Wiremu Barriball - Ngāti Raukawa, Te Ati Awa, Te Rarawa Wiremu is a Māori visual artist and musician born in Ōtaki on the Kapiti Coast, Aotearoa, NZ. He is a renown Taa Moko artist - a journey that started in 1994, and has a background in graphic design and illustration. As a musician, Wiremu has played for some of NZ's top acts, especially within the NZ reggae scene. In 2016 he joined the internationally acclaimed NZ reggae band "Katchafire" as the group's lead guitarist. When not touring the world with Katchafire, he works from his Horowhenua studio creating artworks in multiple media with his business Revolution Aotearoa.
