After a successful year in 2023, Auckland artist Cathryn Ryan is continuing her exploration of distinctly New Zealand narratives. While floating in space, her subjects often resemble naturistic time capsules that reflect a lot of who we are and where we come from. These are earthy, relatable works, often laced with a quirky sense of humour.
