Pete Brammer
Peter Brammer has an intimate knowledge of steel and metals with over 30 years’ experience working as an Engineer and artistic craftsman. For the last 28 years he has focused on being a sculptor, working in traditional and contemporary methods to construct his pieces. Experience as a Sculpture Technician at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park, England enabled an understanding of site placement on large scale works, prior to moving to New Zealand in 2001. His interest is in the ancient monolith contrasting with the modern, along with the sublime and symbolic nature that sculpture can bring and their timeless qualities.
