Having spent over two decades in both fabrication engineering and CAD design, Matt's wife asked that he create a few small art pieces from the remnants of the material used in their core business at the time. From there SteelArt NZ gained momentum at a rapid pace, becoming their main focus in early 2020 and continuing to grow both nationally and internationally. Matt is driven by the sense of achievement from standing back to look at his finished product, and the passion for the process involved in that finished product, always trying to outdo his last creation and push his limits further.
