Belinda Fabris

Belinda is a sculptural artist primarily using clay/ceramics as her primary medium . Her pieces look to challenge the values and perceptions of the viewer and look to the familiar to draw attention to what lies deeper in the consciousness of the observer. She hopes her work reflects and questions the changes in social, political, environmental and spiritual values in our society. She has been inspired by the philosophical teachings of Joseph Campbell regarding myths and legends. Contemporary artists who have inspired and influenced her are, Antony Gormley, Viola Frey, Grayson Perry, Banksy, Paul Dibble, Bronwyn Cornish, Hilary Kerrod, Brendan Adams, Chuck Joseph and Anne Hudson.
