Nathan Hull is best known for his unique and usually large sculptures created from an array of recycled metals. Bringing an engineering history to artistic inspiration often found in nature, the last 20 years have seen some incredible life size sculptures brought to life. These include anything from insects to Bison, even to a 5.5m wingspan Haast eagle. Each piece tends to evoke a feeling of immense strength and stability while developing their own individual personalities without effort. Recently finding inspiration in self reflection and his own growth journey, a lot of Nathan’s time is being spent learning and working through new style techniques and engineering processes while working on several very large public commissions.
