Modern Masters Suite

Presented by Art by the River Gallery, the Modern Masters Suite brings together collectable works by some of the most recognised names in international and New Zealand art. The collection spans modern and contemporary art, including works by Picasso, Chagall, Miró, Matisse, Dalí, Warhol, Hockney, Hirst, Banksy, Tracey Emin and Jean-Michel Basquiat. Leading New Zealand artists include Colin McCahon and Gretchen Albrecht. Based in Whanganui, Art by the River has developed a growing collection of significant and distinctive works, brought together at Art in the Park in a dedicated gallery space, alongside works by established and emerging New Zealand artists.
