Lucie Anderson is a Hawke's Bay artist creating Textured Lightworks—intricately hand-crafted illuminated wall sculptures made from recycled corrugated cardboard. Inspired by the beauty of nature, she transforms an everyday material into contemporary artworks that reveal delicate patterns of light, shadow and texture. Every piece is individually designed and hand cut, exploring the relationship between sustainability, craftsmanship and illumination. Originally from Belgium, Lucie's work invites viewers to slow down and experience how light can completely transform a surface, creating sculptures that change throughout the day and become a focal point within an interior.
